Award-winning Lighting Designer Imero Fiorentino was a pioneer in the very early days of television at ABC-TV, New York. In 1960, he founded Imero Fiorentino Associates, an elite group of performing arts consultants. IFA became a multi-million dollar company with offices in New York, Hollywood, Chicago and Las Vegas. The company lasted 37 years.
Imero lit hundreds of celebrities, many political figures, and every President from Eisenhower to Clinton. The first picture ever transmitted into space via the Telstar satellite, was lit by Imero.
His death in 2013 left a void that is deeply felt by all those who loved him and those he mentored who are now at the top of the lighting and production professions.
